In 2020, FENDERTEX®, driven by a desire to provide crews, boaters and racing skippers with innovative and easy-to-use products, launched an innovation branch: FENDERTEX INNOVATION, offering them optimal protection for their vessels.

Part of C.E.T.I, the EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR INNOVATIVE TEXTILES, since 2012, FENDERTEX® has its own research and development office.
Today, C.E.T.I is more than just a tool available to companies to encourage and accelerate innovation in textiles. It is a place to design, experiment and prototype new products and materials adapted to the trends and needs of tomorrow.
The C.E.T.I offers a range of innovative solutions adapted
to all companies in the extended Textile, Fashion, Luxury and
distribution, in line with societal challenges such as environmental footprint, smart technologies, digital transformation, well-being and value ecosystems.
Its international dimension now ranks it among the top five technical centres worldwide.
